Community contributions
Rio Tinto Coal Australia's community development funds address critical issues determined through consultation with local communities surrounding our operations.
- Blair Athol Mine
- Hail Creek Mine
- Kestrel Mine
- Tarong Mine
Kestrel Mine is actively playing a role to support its neighbouring communities and promote growth opportunities. The Kestrel Mine Community Development Fund was developed to contribute long term solutions to challenges facing the region. It supports projects which can ensure the future well being of our local communities, well beyond the life of Kestrel Mine.
For more information on how to apply for funding, please contact the Executive Officer on 0447 599 990.
